Patio Port -  Special Truck Rate Information 

Truck freight products are usually quite heavy products - yet sometimes they are fully assembled products which are simply too big for FedEx and UPS. Usually these are our Teak Outdoor Patio Furniture Sets and Java Teak Patio Collections, yet ocassionally they are teak benches, teak bar sets, teak dining tables, and the like.

These truck freight products always have larger freight charges than FedEx or UPS products. We, at Patio Port pay all of these charges for you.

When we ship from All Things Cedar, most of these products are ligh enough to be hand delivered from the truck to a couple of persons standing on the ground. In an effort to offer the best possible prices, we do not include a lift gate fee when we price these products. (But we do offer this service, at a small additional charge when it is requested.)

Truck freight products from Anderson Teak are another matter. Most of their products are quite heavy - too heavy to be hand delivered from the truck. Because of this, we always include a lift gate fee in our prices for their products. This means that the truck driver will load the product carton and pallet onto a fork lift and drop it gently at your curbside.

On larger items (which are usually sets) from Anderson Teak, we are proud to also offer Free Inside Delivery, which means in addition to the lift gate service, we have paid the driver to also move your shipping carton(s) and pallet(s) to anywhere a fork lift truck can travel (within reason). He will place your product carton(s) and pallet(s) into a garage, out-building, or any storage area that the fork lift truck can reach safely.

However he can not place any of your product(s) directly into your home, not can he uncrate the product(s) for you.

This Free Inside Delivery can be expensive, but it is our way of saying "Thank You for shopping with us at Patio Port".

Please note: If you are interested in any group of our products containing even one truck freight item, please contact us for a “Special Truck Freight Product Quote" for your order.

Just send us your name, your e-mail address, your telephone number, your zip code, let us know the product or products that you are interested in, and we will prepare a special quote, with all shipping costs included - right to your door!

Please allow us two business days in order to search for the very lowest product and shipping prices that we can obtain.

2) If you need these products in a hurry, just place your order, and then send us an email requesting a “Special Truck Freight Delayed Search”. Be sure to include your name, your telephone number, your email address, your zip code and your order number with this request.

We will begin processing your shipment right away, but we will still search for any method available to save you money. We will notify you of what we were able to do within three business days.

Then, as soon as your products arrive, just let us know, and within the next 14 business days, we will issue you a refund for any savings we could obtain.
